Clark County’s District Attorney has started a new trend of charging fatal DUI drivers with second-degree murder
New Year’s is one of the most dangerous holidays on the road for drunk drivers, which means much more law enforcement on patrol. With an uptick in the odds of getting caught and charges, the risks involved with driving drunk are at an all time high. In the past, if a DUI was fatal there was a good chance you will get charged with manslaughter. Now, Clark County’s District Attorney is changing that unwritten rule by charging 7 fatal DUI drivers with second-degree murder since 2017. If you are involved with a fatal or non-fatal DUI, the stakes are high. You will need someone who has your back 24/7. If you or a family member get into legal trouble please visit any of our locations in Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Tempe, AZ, and Las Vegas, NV.
